Christopher Morrison

Dr. Morrison's background is in radiation modeling, using OLTARIS, MCNP, SERPENT, SCALE, and other radiation transport software codes to complete shielding, criticality, burn up, and radiation heating analyses. He was also a certified senior reactor operator at the Walthousen Critical Facility from 2016 through 2017. During that time, he implemented experiments on activation analysis and reactivity control. Dr. Morrison also has a strong background in COTS HPC technology. He oversaw the Nuclear Engineering and Analysis Methods (NEAM) HPC cluster while he was a graduate student. He administered  four computing clusters with nearly 2,000 cores and led the process of designing and building two of them.
