Mark Davies

Mr. Davies is UNSC’s Vice President of Business Development for the U.K. region. He is a Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry. He has focused on the research and development of gas-cooled reactors including AGRs and PBMR and developed industry-standard models to assess core life and radiolytic corrosion of graphite components. Mr. Davies is a specialist in graphite properties development and the management of irradiation programs. He was a member of the UK Graphite Core Committee from 2009 – 2017. He was also a member of the IAEA CRP on irradiation induced creep in graphite. He has consulted in a specialist capacity to companies such as EDF Energy, ORNL and PBMR.
