Niel Kemp

Mr. Kemp is the Vice President of MMR Projects – responsible for both developing new opportunities for deployments of the MMR Battery, and the design of site- and client-specific plants. While working at the PBMR, he established the control philosophy of the PBMR plant, led the controller design team, established systems engineering processes and took the technical lead for the plant design and integration as the PBMR plant systems engineer. This involvement in PBMR provided him with exposure to the design process of high temperature gas-cooled reactor systems, from the conceptual design of the plant to the detailed design of individual components and controllers.Mr. Kemp is also highly experienced in the financial side of energy project development.
